Juana is a very accommodating and interesting hostess. The location is very handy to the ferry, the meals are excellent and creative. Although a historical home, it is very well kept and comfortable. We would most highly recommend this b. and b.

This was a terrific place to stay and Juana is such a great host! We enjoyed every room with all of the antiques and fascinating renovations. The food was wonderful and we had an amazing full table of visitors from all over the world when we sat down to eat breakfast. So close to the ferries but so quiet in each room - convenient, clean, friendly and great atmosphere - check out some of the books printed from the 1820s!

We had and opportunity to visit Cape Breton end of August and spent three nights at the Hertitage Home Bed & Breakfast in North Sydney. A beautiful grand old home which provided all the necessary ammenties and comforts. Our room was lovely, clean and well appointed. Juana (owner and hostess) was fabulous, very caring, good sense of humour and provided a variety of breakfasts during our stay. We certainly would recommend Heritage Home B&B to anyone planning to visit the Sydney or North Sydney area. Thanks again, Jauna for a great stay.

Wow! what else can we say! This was our very FIRST B&B experience & did it set the bar high! First impressions are everything & this well maintained/restored Victorian home has it all from cleanliness to perfection. When we first drove up to the house we were so taken by it's lovely outside appearance - front porch looking over the bay, private patios and beautiful gardens. The inside decor and collection of antiques are exquisite. You need to stay an extra day just to take it all in. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome & relaxed. Juana is an exceptional hostess & her full breakfast served in her beautiful antique filled diningroom is mostly homemade and delicious. Simply put, exceptional value for the price. We strongly recommend this location to everyone. "A must stopover"

This was my first experience staying at a B&B and I have to say I loved it. The bed was comfortable, the atmosphere was charming, and I felt right at home the minute I walked in. I'd highly recommend this place to anybody.

It was a thrill and a joy to 'live' in this historical house, furnished with antique furnishings, for four nights. It is so comfortable, I almost believed it was mine. Juana is a truly fine hostess who cares for each of her clients, as she does for her house, attending to every detail. I was blessed to have choosen this beautiful place, in such a pretty setting, as my 'home' while visiting in North Sydney. Thanks, Juana

I cannot say enough about Mrs. Moreland and her beautiful, well kept, comfortable home. The view is great, in a very nice little area, comfortable driving distances to several attractions. We had a nightmare of a flight beginning to our Nova Scotia trip & Ms. Morelands' home was our first night in. Midnight and ''lost luggage''. She was so gracious, we had robes and big comfortable room, beds. She is a wonderful hostess, she made everything okay again. The homemade breakfasts were out of this world yummy. It was like coming home to family, and after a very long, hard day there was no where better to be!! Free to come and go as you please. A must place to stay to help absorb the true Nova Scotia experience.

This is certainly a gem in North Sydney. Quaint, clean and charming. Juana, the hostess, was a joy to interact with. She made great suggestions on where to go and places to eat. Highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed at the Heritage Home Bed & Breakfast three nights - one before the ferry to Newfoundland and two more after returning. The home is beautiful and the hostess, Juana, was great. Her breakfasts, served on fine china, were wonderful and nutritious. The beds and rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We would recommend this B&B to any traveller who wishes for a nice place to stay.

My husband and I, along with another couple, were on a month's trip from Ont. to Nfld staying at B&B's. One of the nicest was Heritage House. Accomodations were spacious and beautifully appointed.
Juana was a delight and on our approach visit assured us on our return from Nfld, although arriving on the ferry very late at night our same rooms would be waiting for us. When we arrived about midnight it felt like coming home. We didn't see Juana but our own private entrance and lights on in our rooms was very welcoming.
We would highly recommend this lovely home with its gorgeous setting and hope to have a return visit some time.

We travel a lot but I was always very skeptical about B&B. However, this time I decided to try it. Our first B&B proved I was very wrong! Heritage Home Bed & Breakfast was more than we ever could have asked for! Our stay was very enjoyable and restful. The view was incredible; the location was perfect, our room was private, clean, and comfortable. Juana, the owner, was so welcoming and helpful, and we felt right at home. She was there if we needed, otherwise respected our privacy.
We would highly recommend the Heritage Home Bed & Breakfast for your visit Sydney, Nova Scotia.
